A properly fitted hat should sit comfortably about 1/8 inch above your ears and feel snug — not tight. Follow the steps below to find your size.
How to Measure
- Using a flexible measuring tape (or a string and ruler), measure the circumference of your head.
- Position the tape about 1/8 inch (1 cm) above the top of your ears, across the mid-forehead, and around the widest part of the back of your head.
- Keep the tape level and comfortably snug. Measure twice to confirm.
- Match your measurement to the size chart below. If you fall between sizes, order the larger size.

- Snug, not tight: Your hat should stay put when you shake your head gently, without leaving a mark on your forehead.
- Break-in period: Felt and leather hats soften and conform to your head over time.
- Sizing inserts: If your hat feels slightly loose, foam sizing tape behind the sweatband can fine-tune the fit.
